ATH explained
All-Time High
Quick definition: ATH is the highest price an asset has ever reached. ATL (All-Time Low) is the lowest.
When the price breaks above its ATH, there is no historical resistance overhead, and the price can run very fast on euphoria.
Conversely, many altcoins can fall 80–95% after setting an ATH and never return to their old peak.
Looking at how far the current price is from the ATH helps gauge whether a coin is relatively expensive or cheap, but it doesn't guarantee the price will come back.
